Project Outline

Roofing Advisors UK Ltd were appointed to deliver roofing upgrade works at an industrial facility in Leeds for a national car dealership group. The project was overseen by the client’s appointed representative, with works planned and delivered in line with their operational and technical requirements.

The 1,325m² roof area comprised an existing felt roofing system, which was overlaid with a new Sikaplan insulated single-ply membrane system, installed in accordance with Sika specification reference 0293564.

The works also included new junction flashings and metal sheet detailing to ensure a robust, long-lasting and fully weatherproof finish across all interfaces.

Project Outcome

Completed between July and September 2022, the project delivered a high-performance insulated single-ply membrane system providing long-term durability for this industrial facility.

The overlay method allowed the existing substrate to remain in place, minimising disruption to site operations and offering a more sustainable installation approach. The addition of new metal detailing created a clean, professional finish to perimeter areas and key junctions.
